Jointly with the Korea Institute for Animal Health Analysis to demonstrate
‘Nutritional Data-Based’

Nosework, a nanotechnology-based pet healthcare start-up, unveiled the results of the demonstration test (PoC) of “Pets Customized Nutrition Management Solution” jointly conducted with the Korea Animal Health Analysis Institute on the 27th.
The demonstration was conducted for about 7 months from April 2025, and a number of experts participated in the data analysis and monitoring process to increase objectivity. Through its brand Penovis, Nosework proposed a routine nutrition guide based on data from the analysis of the nutritional status of pets in the body, and precisely tracked changes in nutritional indicators.
As a result of this test at the research facility, significant changes in nutritional indicators such as mineral balance in the body were observed in about 91% of pets who faithfully implemented the guide. Through the case analysis of the remaining 9% of cases, we confirmed the impact of daily care variables such as the salary environment and guide implementation rate on nutrition status, a KnowsWork official said. “It was an opportunity to reaffirm that the continuous compliance of the guardian’s nutrition guide is a key factor in ‘promoting daily health’ as much as objective data analysis.”
Nosework plans to use this empirical data as basic data for service advancement of its customized healthcare “Vetcare Plus,” which is scheduled to be officially launched in 2026. As of December 1 last year, Penovis was selected as a best-selling brand in Coupang’s dog and cat nutritional supplements, and it is ranked at the top of major e-commerce channels such as Naver Shopping, proving the marketability of data-based pet healthcare.
It is also gaining momentum to enter the global market. Nosework, which has completed verification of the entire process from data collection to analysis in Thailand and is preparing to enter the U.S. market, is confident of the global settlement of “BetCare Plus” in 2026.
“The results of this demonstration show that data-based customized care can be an effective tool to help pets balance nutrition,” said Jang Hyun-deok, CEO of Knowswork. “We will present auxiliary standards for pet healthcare based on scientific evidence beyond simple nutrition supply.”
