HCA Florida Kendall Hospital Welcomes Dr. Brandon Diaz, Expanding Heart and Vascular Program
February 19, 2024 – HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a 447-bed facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, is pleased to announce the addition of vascular surgeon, Dr. Brandon Diaz. In his role, Dr. Diaz will enhance the heart and vascular service line at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Dr. Diaz is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon, who has vast experience in the treatment of a range of cardiovascular conditions. Dr. Diaz specializes in performing minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat diseases affecting blood vessels, such as aneurysms, blockages and other vascular conditions. HCA Florida Kendall Hospital offers a broad range of treatment options for patients with certain conditions, including minimally invasive procedures that may result in shorter hospitals stays and faster recovery times.

Dr. Diaz completed his fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and his residency at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Dr. Diaz attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Dr. Diaz grew up in South Florida in a Cuban and Puerto Rican household.
